Participation in the labor market §16i SGBII
The aim is to enable the long-term unemployed who are far from the labor market to participate in society by taking up employment that is subject to social insurance contributions and by providing comprehensive employment support.
Funding is available for people who...
- Are at least 25 years old,
- have received benefits continuously for six years in the last seven years,
- have been receiving benefits for at least five years and are a parent or have a recognized severe disability and have not been employed or have been employed only briefly during that time.
The wage cost subsidy is based on the minimum wage, and in the case of employers covered by collective agreements or collective bargaining agreements, on the collectively agreed wage.
In addition to the wage subsidy, coaching takes place, as the re-entry for job seekers can be associated with obstacles. In coaching, the employee is not only prepared for the new daily routine, but is also actively stabilized and advised. In this way, our coaches should also stabilize the employment relationship and identify disruptions at an early stage.
Upon application, the full or partial costs of further training can be covered if the employee requires further training during employment.
